Hello,
Beautiful humans! Oh my goodness, our last gathering was MAGICAL. It was our first longer retreat-style gathering and it was so fabulous to be with all of you who could make it in a longer-form way.
We gathered on October 20th, starting our time in a beautiful barn in North Boulder where Katja Surya Lany and Lara Golan each offered beautiful pieces, an inner child journey followed by a magical sound bath. Then Sabrina Tarbutton offered up the MOST incredible spread: she had lovingly prepared a beautiful feast with at least 20 different home made offerings. Wow! Over the meal we had the chance to each share our offerings: the things we are up to and the beautiful creations people are making or offering out into the world from Amalea and Glenda’s incredible handmade cards to Elizabeth’s lovingly produced flower essences, and services such as Charissa’s intuitive healing sessions and Lara’s free online sound community. It was beautiful! And we all went home with bath salts that my husband had lovingly poured a few bottles of the incredible frankincense he sources into, ready to soak in the beauty of the day!
Our next gathering is back at the StarHouse on November 20th from 1-3pm. This month, Anne Marie Schaffer will guide us through Somatic Breathwork — a powerful healing practice designed to help you release undesired patterns and stagnant energy, regulate your nervous system, and align with your most authentic self. Jessica Noelle will also share the magic of her movement and presence with us! It will be beautiful, I am sure, and the StarHouse is always such a powerful place to gather.
And mark your calendars for December when we’ll be back at Wild Sage Cohousing for a “Befriending Your Nervous System” experience with yoga therapist, Jessa Buchalter. We’ll follow that session up with a community potluck with all those who are able to stay. More on the December gathering here.
As a reminder, this community is built on the feminine principal of receiving. Each month we have a chance to receive the gifts of other community members. Once you have received, you are welcome to make an offer at a future gathering. There is no pressure at all to make a formal offering to the group, as attending and sharing your presence is more than gift enough, but for those who want that opportunity to share or test out their offerings, it is there.

Anne Marie Schaffer
Anne Marie Schaffer is a Somatic Breathwork facilitator newly based out of Boulder. She is passionate about using breathwork as a powerful healing modality to witness, feel, and express the energy that has been held within our bodies. Her sessions invite deep release, clarity, and reconnection with one's most authentic self. When she’s not leading ceremonies, Anne Marie can be found teaching fitness classes at a local studio or exploring the outdoors with her husband, two kids, and golden retriever puppy.
Jessica Noelle
Jessica is a woman deeply attuned to the natural world and the rhythmic wisdom of her womb. Guided by Great Mystery, she serves women on the path of remembering their divinity through connection with nature, movement, and stillness. Her love of culture, travel, humanity, and adventure has shaped a reverence for the depth within her own existence and the full expression of life through the body. Jessica speaks with the plants and they creates forest spirited medicine together. And she offers 1:1 sessions that invite women to soften, rewire beliefs, awaken their cyclical wisdom, and find liberation through presence. She is also studying to become a postpartum doula.

REFLECTION
I really loved being in your presence last month…. it was a beautiful gathering. I love that Elizabeth brought her daughter, Amalea, with her (and though I love being a boy mom, I certainly sometimes am envious of mother daughter relationships - so lovely!). They are combining their magic and have made a red clover card to match a red clover flower essense which will be available for purchase at the November gathering if you join us!
I wanted to share that Mikaila just printed the prototype of our Sacred Systems card deck, and we’ll have that to pull at our next gathering too! I just pulled a card for us right now, and I got this one.
The short version of the text is this:
Beauty.
Beauty is coherence made visible — the harmony that awakens reverence. Seeing beauty is seeing systems: the patterns, the dissonance, and the form that shapes nature also shapes each of us. When we seek out beauty, and really open ourselves up to it, we find each other, and ourselves. Ask: Where is beauty already present, and how might I amplify it?

I am sending this from an airplane on my way to Portugal where I will be working at a conference and also co-hosting a session on “Rituals: The Messy Human Stuff of Systems Change” and we’ll certainly be pulling a card there too.
